Privacy Policy

What personal data this site collects, what it is used for, how long we keep it and what you can ask us about it.

This policy explains what personal data the kasco.ceprone.com website collects, what it is used for, how long we keep it and what you can ask us about it. It was written to be read — not to protect us from you.

1. Who processes your data

The controller is KASCO — Kairos Strategic Consulting, Lda, a company incorporated under Mozambican law. For any question about this page or about your data, please use the contact form.

2. What we collect, and only when you give it

This site does not profile visitors and does not buy data from third parties. We collect only what you type into the forms:

Contact form

  • name and email address — required, so that we can reply;
  • subject and message — required;
  • organisation, telephone and area of interest — optional;
  • the IP address the message was sent from and the date it was sent, recorded automatically.

Course registration

  • full name, email and telephone — required, to confirm your place and send logistical information;
  • organisation, role and notes — optional;
  • the IP address and the date of registration.

Newsletter subscription

  • your email address;
  • your name, if you give it;
  • the page you subscribed from, and the date.

No form on this site asks for identity document numbers, bank details, health data or any other sensitive information. If you write such data into the message field you do so on your own initiative, and we ask you not to.

3. Why we process it

  • To reply to you. A message sent through the form exists to be answered, and that is what we use your data for.
  • To manage course registrations. Confirming your place, communicating dates, venue and changes, and issuing training documents.
  • To send the newsletter to those who asked for it.
  • To protect the site. The IP address is recorded to limit automated submissions and detect abuse of the forms.

The basis is your consent — given by ticking the authorisation box before sending — and, for registrations, carrying out the steps needed to provide the service you requested. You may withdraw consent at any time; that does not affect what was done before.

4. We neither sell nor share your data

Your data is not sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes. It is accessed only by the KASCO staff who need it for the purposes above, and by the technical suppliers who keep the site running — hosting and email delivery — who process it on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. We will disclose data to a public authority only where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact messages and course registrations: up to three years after our last contact with you, after which they are deleted.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and the link is at the foot of every message we send.
  • Technical security records: for short periods, only as long as needed to protect the site from abuse.

6. Cookies

This site uses the minimum. There are no advertising cookies, no social network cookies, and no sharing of your behaviour with advertisers.

  • Session cookie — needed for the pages to work and to keep the session of anyone signed in to the management area.
  • Security cookie (CSRF) — prevents a third-party site from submitting forms in your name.

The language choice uses no cookie: each language has its own address, which is why you see it change in the address bar.

The site may use Google Analytics for audience measurement. When that service is active it sets its own cookies and records pages visited in aggregate form; you can block them in your browser settings without losing access to anything on this site.

7. Security

The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the management area requires authentication, locks after repeated failed attempts, and keeps a record of the operations carried out. Passwords are stored encrypted and are readable by no one, ourselves included.

No system is infallible. Should an incident ever affect your data, we will inform those affected and the competent authorities.

8. Your rights

Regarding the data we hold about you, you may ask to:

  • know what it is and what we do with it;
  • correct anything wrong or out of date;
  • have it deleted;
  • stop us using it for a particular purpose;
  • withdraw the consent you gave.

Make the request through the contact form. We reply as promptly as we can. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on personal data — that is a protection for you, not an obstacle.

9. Minors

This site is aimed at professionals and organisations and is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect data from people under the age of majority. If you become aware that a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete the record.

10. Applicable law

This processing is governed by Mozambican law, in particular the Constitution of the Republic of Mozambique and Law no. 3/2017 of 9 January (Electronic Transactions Law), which regulates the electronic processing of personal data in its articles 63 to 65.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
