Terms of Use

Terms of use of the site, intellectual property in the content, course registrations and applicable law.

These terms govern the use of the kasco.ceprone.com website. By browsing it, you accept them. They are deliberately short.

1. Who is responsible for this site

This site is owned and operated by KASCO — Kairos Strategic Consulting, Lda, a company incorporated under Mozambican law, trading as KASCO. For any question about this page or about your data, please use the contact form.

KASCO organises its work in five areas — Advisory, Academy, Research, Digital and Ecclesia — which are areas of a single company, not independent companies.

2. What this site is for

The site presents KASCO's work, announces training, publications and projects, and lets you get in touch with us. The content is informative: it does not constitute professional advice applicable to a specific case, nor does it create any service relationship. Work with KASCO begins with a written proposal that has been accepted, never with a page on this site.

3. Content and intellectual property

The texts, images, publications, trade marks, logos and the design of this site belong to KASCO or to their authors, unless stated otherwise, and are protected by applicable law.

You may read, print and download the content for personal, academic or internal organisational use, and quote it citing the source and the page address.

You may not, without KASCO's written permission, reproduce the content for commercial purposes, alter it and present it as your own, use KASCO's trade marks or logos, or suggest an association, partnership or endorsement that does not exist.

4. Knowledge Hub publications

Publications made available for download are intended for reading and for quotation with attribution. Redistributing, translating or republishing them in any other medium requires written permission.

5. Training and registrations

A registration made through the site is a request, not a confirmed place. Registration takes effect only once KASCO confirms it. Announced dates, venues, trainers and prices may change; any change is communicated to those registered. Payment, cancellation and certification terms are those set out in the confirmation for each programme.

6. Acceptable use

In using this site you undertake not to attempt to access restricted areas, not to overload or disrupt the service, not to harvest data by automated means, and not to use the forms to send unlawful content, unsolicited advertising or false information. The public forms have submission limits and protection against automated use.

7. Links to other sites

This site may contain links to third-party sites, offered for convenience. KASCO does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their availability.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

We aim to keep the site available and the information correct and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or freedom from error. The site may be suspended for maintenance or for technical reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, KASCO is not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

9. Personal data

The processing of the data you provide is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The version that applies is the one published on this page at the time you use the site, and the date below shows when it was last updated.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Mozambican law, in particular Law no. 3/2017 of 9 January (Electronic Transactions Law). Any dispute arising from the use of this site shall be subject to the courts of the district of KASCO's registered office, to the exclusion of any other.
